Brick, in the form of both tiles and terracotta slabs, is a material traditionally exposed to the sun, making it a potential source of photovoltaic energy to be collected, stored, and utilized. Despite its ancient origins, brick has yet to fully benefit from technological advancements in the photovoltaic field. FET, with its patented technology consisting of photovoltaic strips and optimization and storage electronics, has begun developing various terracotta components, such as tiles, ridge tiles, slabs, and interlocking pavers. These components can be used in photovoltaic systems similar to widely-used solar panel installations or as stand-alone devices for lighting, without the need for external power and wiring. All these components are designed to operate long-term with minimal external interaction and almost no user interface.
