The spherical photovoltaic panel is a solar energy storage system that greatly increases the exposure surface through a reflective/reverberant optical solution. The photovoltaic cells are placed on a sphere which receives the light reflected by a series of prismatic mirrors onto which the rays of light captured by concave diffusing lenses are conveyed. With the same section of the sphere, the PV surface is much larger and if you decide to increase the diameter the surface grows with the square of the radius. Lithium batteries are placed in the cavity of the sphere in the large space that is formed so that the energy collected can be directly accumulated in a distributed manner at the individual panel level. The 50Volt DC bus is made directly available to the inverters which will be able to draw on the available energy until it runs out, even at the same time as charging. The patent is a mix of optical and electronic solutions supported by qualitatively important mechanics especially with regards to materials and related technology.
