TECHNICAL FEATURES

The "GELOSIA double-panel" shutter is not only a blackout shutter but also an internal and external lighting system, an anti-intrusion system, and an insect repellent system. GELOSIA appears as a regular shutter equipped with a photovoltaic system that uses the collected energy to perform all its functions sustainably without any external energy input. In fact, GELOSIA does not have electrical connections, except in cases of low solar exposure (North-facing direction).

GELOSIA is based on several acquired patents and the use of STRUCTURAL PHOTOVOLTAIC technology developed by F.E.T. It is the ideal shutter because it is completely environmentally friendly, well-suited for replacing existing shutters, and does not create any unpleasant architectural impacts or dissonance with the surrounding context.

The integrated structural photovoltaic system in the crosspieces collects the energy needed for operations such as movement (opening/closing), lighting of the surrounding spaces, and electrostatic insect traps. The structure, consisting of a frame and two panels, is delivered as a flat-pack kit, and the assembly is done directly at the installation site, making GELOSIA easy to set up even for non-experts.

The entire system is managed through a mobile app with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection. The photovoltaic system can collect up to 2500 Wh per m² on a sunny day, ensuring over 120 hours of continuous lighting and additional services. GELOSIA is available in different widths and heights, starting from 600mm x 800mm and increasing in 60mm increments.

Currently, the double-panel GELOSIA is offered at a launch price of €2200 per m² for B2B supplies. We accept pre-orders for lots of 10 and 100 units and are available for continuous supply contracts. We are also considering offering it to end customers at an indicative price of €2000 per m², all-inclusive in a flat-pack kit.
