Parallel MPPT

Discover the details →

TECHNICAL FEATURES

The MPPT module is a component of the H&S (Harvesting and Storage) electronic system developed by FET. This module, called MPPT, effectively includes not only the function of tracking the maximum power of the photovoltaic panels to which it is associated but also the dimming function for LED strips and the determination of the maximum theoretically available power, even if not absorbed by the system loads.

It is available in different versions ranging from 40W up to 600W and is a parallel regulator (a fixed voltage current regulator of 50 volts). The H&S system includes, in addition to the MPPT modules, an energy storage battery with its charger and a BMS and EMS management unit towards other functional units in the system that accommodates it, such as the sunshade umbrella, the GELOSIA shutter, the spherical photovoltaic panel, and the accumulation cluster system.

Depending on the application, this module can be packaged differently to allow for housing and adaptation to the hosting system. It interfaces with the rest of the system through a battery DC bus, a FV (photovoltaic) DC bus, and a CAN digital communication.
