FV TILES
Discover the details →
TECHNICAL FEATURES
The structural photovoltaic cells and the H&S control and management electronics developed by FET enable the creation of photovoltaic tiles capable of ensuring a significant energy harvest, reaching up to 50 Wh per tile per day, depending on the chosen configuration and roof exposure. The number of tiles per square meter can vary from 10 to 15, depending on the selected geometry, seamlessly integrating into traditional building roofs.
The installation is notably more advantageous compared to conventional photovoltaic panels, as it requires a single intervention rather than the double installation needed for conventional PV panels. The full compatibility of PV tiles with traditional tiles allows for continuous coverage of the roof slopes, avoiding the alternation between tiles and panels, which is aesthetically unappealing and less functional.
The photovoltaic tiles are installed connected to an MPPT adapter developed by FET, included in the wiring of the H&S electronics. Each tile has its own optimizer designed specifically to maximize the geometries of structural photovoltaics, enabling optimal use of different exposure zones and the reflective effects that are created.
From an aesthetic point of view, photovoltaic tiles achieve significantly better and more impactful results than traditional photovoltaic panels, which often convey a sense of instability and incompleteness, giving photovoltaic systems an appearance of technical and environmental precariousness. Additionally, the large dimensions of existing panels often lead to high costs. Finally, the lens effect introduced by the latest generation transparent coatings significantly contributes to overall energy performance.
