TECHNICAL FEATURES
Every energy distribution system requires at least one actuation group capable of safely and controlledly switching the expected loads, constantly monitoring all functional parameters of the system: current, voltage, delivered and available power, and consumed energy. FET has developed a relay module aimed at the switching of inverters and typical loads of battery systems, where functional parameters are crucial for preserving battery consumption. For this purpose, FET has the ability to configure different versions of relay groups managed by dedicated software, which include, in addition to the main switch, a pre-charge circuit, an inertia fuse, and measurement of voltages and currents involved. The entire circuit is constantly monitored and equipped with checks on commands and operating states, such as proper opening and closing of relays, voltage drops on contacts, activation of the protection fuse from software both for protection against detected anomalies and for remote control commands received via the control line. The module can be fully managed remotely by the BMS/EMS units that handle the entire system. This module can be reconfigured for use in controlling traction inverters, charging systems, and photovoltaic systems. Power line voltages from 48Vdc up to 800Vdc and currents up to 1000A are supported. The current sensors are dual and capable of accurately measuring both very low currents and values at the expected upper limit. Commands and states are exchanged with control units via CAN communication lines. Two lines that can operate either in parallel
