TECHNICAL FEATURES

The BMSM/EMSM is the electronics intended for the management of a battery, the management of energy distribution and the thermal control of the energy system, including inverters. The management of the various services takes place via connections on the CAN line with the actuation units. Essentially this unit contains the systems management software, while the entire actuative part is delegated to the interface and implementation units such as BMSS battery rack management unit, OOLC power line activation and power distribution unit, EVTP management of heat exchangers, pumps and fans. The functions performed by this unit are multiple and include complete management of the battery inserted in the final system, such as a car or more a traction system, or a cluster of storage batteries equipped with an inverter and an integrated photovoltaic system. The discharge and charging surveillance of the battery is part of this, both from the mains and charging units and from photovoltaic systems. Using appropriate sensors, the health status of all the battery cells is detected and their efficiency is estimated. Thermal control is guaranteed by managing the exchangers located in the cell container. The energy exchange between the battery and the traction system and between the battery and the charging systems is monitored and managed with historical preservation of all cycles and charging status.
