TECHNICAL FEATURES

The battery racks developed by FET are diversified and different in size and capacity. The difference between the racks lies mainly in the lithium cells used. The RACK-BMOD10 mounts 100x140x20 prismatic cells of different capacities and performances. This Rack is available in a format with 14 cells side by side and electrically organized into two groups of 7 cells. These racks are packaged to maintain space between two different lithium cells to allow ventilation air to circulate. These racks have been developed to be housed in watertight battery containers that feature heat pump-based thermal regulation. The racks developed by FET have BMSS in common and as the main feature the lithium cells are not welded but assembled using specially developed pressure contacts. Not soldering the lithium cells means simplicity of maintenance and protection of the cells which can subsequently be selected and reused for other applications or simply disposed of with easier procedures. Each rack includes a BMSS that allows thermal surveillance at the cell level, the equalization (balancing) function or local charging.
